Session properties and performance #

A session property temporarily modifies the runtime environment for the duration of the current connection session to the cluster.

Some session properties can improve your query performance. For object storage catalogs, there are a number of shared session properties. The availability of performance-enhancing properties is specific to each object storage table format.
