Network security #
Use the Admin > Network security pane to view, edit, or configure a list of
network security policies. Each Network security policy lets you control
incoming traffic to one or more clusters by specifying a list of allowed and
blocked IP addresses.
Only roles with the Manage security account
privilege
can create and edit network security policies.
View network security policies #
The Network security pane lets you view a list of network security policies.
Use the Search network policy field to search the list by policy name.
The following columns are displayed:
- Policy name: The name of the network security policy.
- Clusters: The clusters assigned the network security policy.
- Allowed IP addresses: The list of IP addresses or CIDR blocks allowed
access to the clusters.
- Blocked IP addresses: The list of IP addresses or CIDR blocks denied
access to the clusters.
- Enabled: A toggle switch that lets you enable or disable the network
security policy.
- Comments: The description of the network security policy.
Create a network security policy #
Use the following steps to create a network security policy:
- Click Create network security policy.
- In the Network policy name field, enter a name for the policy.
- In the Select clusters drop-down menu, assign the policy to one or more
clusters.
- In the Allowed IP addresses field, enter a list of IP addresses or CIDR
blocks to allow access to your clusters.
- In the Blocked IP addresses field, enter a list of IP addresses or CIDR
blocks to deny access to your clusters.
- (Optional) In the Comments field, enter a description for the policy.
- Click Save.
Edit a network security policy #
Use the following steps to edit a network security policy:
- From the network security policies list, select the more_vert options menu
for the policy you want to edit.
- Click Edit.
- Make your desired changes to any of the fields.
- Click Save.
Delete a network security policy #
Use the following steps to delete a network security policy:
- From the network security policies list, select the more_vert options menu for the policy you want to delete.
- Click Delete.
Caution:
Deleting a network security policy cannot be
undone.
