Release 451-e STS (1 August 2024)

Starburst Enterprise platform (SEP) 451-e is the follow up SEP release to 449-e. It includes all improvements from the following Trino releases:

• Trino 450

• Trino 451

This release is a short term support (STS) release.

Breaking changes

• The optimizer.mark-distinct-strategy and optimizer.optimize-mixed-distinct-aggregations configuration properties have been removed and are replaced by optimizer.distinct-aggregations-strategy.

• The bigquery.parallelism configuration property has been removed as scan parallelism is now enabled by default on the BigQuery connector.

General

• Added public preview support for query result caching.

MaxCompute connector

• Added support for reading views stored in MaxCompute.
