Everpure object storage support

Everpure FlashBlade//S and FlashBlade//E are high-performance, scale-out file and object storage systems that use Purity//FB for the S3 interface and are compatible with Amazon S3. Everpure FlashArray is also supported as an S3-compatible block, file, and object storage system. Both product families are compatible with any catalog using one of the following connectors:

• Delta Lake connector

• Hive connector

• Iceberg connector

Requirements

The requirements of the connector apply when using Everpure storage as a storage backend. This specifically includes the configured metastore and the network access between the cluster and the storage.

Configuration

Everpure FlashBlade//S, FlashBlade//E, and FlashArray are fully compatible with Amazon S3 and as a result all related configuration information applies. In addition, you must ensure that path style access is enabled in your catalog properties file:
